Stow Minster • St Mary

Stow Minster, Ashley Taylor, Push Creativity*

The internationally renowned cruciform Anglo-Saxon Minster church of St Mary dates to 975AD, with a Norman chancel completed c1150AD.

Important features include Viking graffiti from 10th/11th century and a Viking grave marker.

This year our theme explores the role of Vikings within our area of West Lindsey, their local encampments, trading and farming activities, and their relationship with the church.

Enjoy the peace and quiet.
