St Peter’s is a Grade I listed building is situated within the conservation area of Great Limber village. Attractive pond and village hall are close by. 

The church was built in the 12th century with 13th, 14th, 16th and 19th additions. 

The lych gate was built in 1912. 

The tower has three bells dating from 1595. The chancel arch is crossed by a rood loft of recent construction. 

Interior restoration is by William Butterfield in 1854-64.
